24 hours isn't enough
After a day of projects, projects and projects i dawned to me that 24 hours just isn't enough. Things to need to do this week and next:
- Finished up WIL individual project (dateline 16th Feb)
- Finished up my part for OTD (dateline 14th Feb)
- Finish studying for MAB by Mon evening
- Setting up Valentine's Day booth (Mon, Tue and Wed morning and noon burnt, evening would most probably be spend on finishing up projects)
- Coach Amber on Fri morning before meeting up with Germaine and the girls
- Saturday Morning lesson, noon project meeting, evening cousin's birthday party
- Sunday training for pattern team, noon studying for MAB test probably last till night
And the list goes on. At this point i'm suppose to freak and get all panicky, my usual self would feel all pressured and stress up. However this time round i felt a sense of satisfaction. It feels that i'm making good use of my time. After Chinese New Year i'm going to try to accomplish my Maggie Mee idea. not sure how it goes but i think it might work if i'm given the green light.
One way or another i'm determined to make this year a good one. One with prosperity and also one with doing good. So far its been working out great. =)
I've understood the using time in exchange for money is not going to work for me. I'm just not into that idea. Sort of done some maths, considering if i were to earn $3000 a month for my job next time, I will only have $36,000 a year. Which also means it will take 27 years for me to become a millionaire. And that calculation does not include the money i have to spend on house, care, children and daily expenses. Woah wait a min...I'm not going to live like that!
I guess i understood why my dad started his business and till now i truly respect him for taking care of my family well. And i want to be like him, or should i say better than him. He once commented to me ' if today i didn't have my business, and have to worry about money everyday, your attitude, your sis attitude and your mum's attitude will be totally different.' And i sort of agree with him. If we were poor, alot of unhappiness may occur. Statistics has shown that 50% of divorced is caused by money issues.
I know its like 'oh man..money minded' but lets make it this way, its my way of ensuring of having a good and stable future. I don't ever want my family to break up because of money, i've seen my mother's side close to being shattered caused of that. It's not a happy sight. I want my life to be full of colors, not darkness. Which is why i worked hard now and many people i know are too. Like HangWei, Dickson, Summer, Nicholas and a few more, you know who you are.
We all have dreams, but why do we have them? Cause dreams makes us happy and that's what i'm going after. It's not money, its happiness. =))(what do you think? |
