Staring at computer gives 'hei ban'

Stephaine Yeo will proberly remember this, as shocking it was to her and me, yes staring at the computer can result in 'hei ban' in fact it quickens the effect. Thats due to some UV rays that the screen gives out. Thanks to my facial lady, she taught me alot of facts i should know about face and how to take care of it and for once in my life, i realise the importance of getting good UV protection.

Some facts i learnt:
1. Wash you face in a rotational motion - helps in improving blood cirulation and cells restoration

2. Use products that has ph 5.5 - too acidic or too alkine may cause your skin to be too dependent on the product. Our skin is naturally at ph5.5

3. Use the same type series - dont use toner brand X then day care brand Y. Your skin may have a hard time trying to adjust to everything. If its bad, may result in sensitive skin.

4. The importance of toner(water based and without alcohol content) - It helps to kill germs and close the pores.

5. The importance of UV protection day cream - Protects skin from UV rays (sun and computer) and prevent the birth of 'hei pan'. In English i think its called freckles.

6. When choosing an eye care, choose gel base - cream based ones will cause clogging around the eye area, thats why some people have this white thing the looks like it contains oil on the face.

These are just the few facts that i was taught from her, still have many more. Apparently that place is not bad cause it has been mention in the Fann Wong show, so should be reliable (maybe that's why she got good skin la). It's quite an interesting topic, for ladies especially. Men should take care too, whether you believe it or not, girl like guys with good skin too. =p

Let's just say i'm thankful that after all these tips and going to facial, my face condition has very much improved. Zhi Ling, Amber and a few of my other friends seem to notice the difference. I'm a happy girl!
